Heritage Forge Press is an independent Canadian publishing press built around a simple idea: worthwhile stories deserve to be shaped with care and preserved well.
The forge is our working metaphor. A manuscript begins as raw material: an idea, a memory, a world, a record. Through patient editorial work and thoughtful design, it becomes a book with its own strength and character.
We publish across genres without pretending they are the same. Fiction is free to imagine. Children’s books invite curiosity. Historical and genealogical works carry a particular responsibility to the record.
We favour clear writing, coherent worlds, careful research, and books that respect the reader. The press is small by design, allowing each title to receive close attention.
Heritage Forge Press is establishing its catalogue now. We will let the books—and the care invested in them—speak before making larger claims.
